Well almost! I was released to go home on 2 antibiotics. I am usually pretty good at running my own antibiotics but this c.a.d.d. machine drove me bonkers not to mention my schedule was bad. I accidentally stepped on my needle that goes into my chest (portacath) and I ended up back in the hospital via e.r. It's just as well I went home to no electric, Nobody had cleaned up or taken the dog out much, so my house smelled like a kennel and my dog has a growth above his eye and my baby was in need of water. I think I am going to see if my aunt would like him as her dog passes away not too long ago. Ray threw a fit but than maybe he should be caring for him a little better than too. I have't spoke with him this evening and he hung up on my this morning. He now wants to take a MN. vacation. I really wouldn't mind it but he won't even take days off for my surgeries or Amanda's awards things as a family. He goes with his cousing Ronnie up to Baldwin several times throughout the year. I think a big vacation like that should be for us as a family. Not that my cruise wasn't big but I saved for that and he was invited. I just hate that he can't stand by me right now it seems when I'm down he has to or wants to fight me even more. I see be mad at the disease not at me!

FYI about my challenges

Now mind you these are not as elaborate as could be, I grabbed some inks about 8, a pack of ribbon, cardstock and a mini pack my tape runner and a few stamps soooo if these seem elementary 2 you that's why! I just can't sit up here and do nothing though! Thanks for all of your support. I go under the knife in 70 minutes, so say a prayer for me. I have to go and let them get me ready :-) Blessings to you all. Patti M.especially, you have been my cheerleader. I want to get with you and see if there are some images you could use of mine :-) My lil' angel :-) Tee Hee...

My Dr's Nurse Practioner (whom I see more than my Dr.) let me go out on a pass before my surgery!!! My daughter leaves for Texas to see her BF that moved away a couple summers ago and I wanted to suprise her with some new outfits! Well, since I'm a frequent flyer I got to go out to Wal-mart and then I snuck my happy butt to HOBBY LOBBY, I needed some adhesive refills!!!! (you know your addicted when....) I'm liking the card making challenges! I just have to remember all of those that I am in and the dates they are drawing! (which may be difficult with some of these meds I'm on! LOL. Well, surgery is at 5est (hoping my husband will show! He works tonight but I am sure it won't take that long) oh and I am thirsty as can be, I'm gonna go brush my teeth for the 3rd time, just so I can have a little water..LOL. shhhh they may be catching on. I hope to craft when I get up and around. Wish me luck! :-)

Change of plans, Surgery tomorrow 5 pm

Just a little surgery, the portacath shifted and is up in my neck and head! Plus there's a kink behind it, so out it comes & a new one is going in. Kinda glad to get it over with! I have been poked at least 30 times!!! I told them 2day no more!!! It's crazy! Pray for me for some patience, I'm usually quite tolerant but I can't take it anymore!!!!!

Still in the hospital

Surgery Monday&Karens blog challenge.

EEEEKKK! Well, my portacath has been giving me grief since it was put it well apparently it is in the wrong vein going up my neck and up 2 my head instead of under my clavicle facing my stomach! They're trying 2 tell me it's from coughing but honestly how can that happen?? It sounds like a lame a** excuse to save their butt from a malpractice suit. Well, I am feeling better my lungs are getting clearer and my pain is much better. Thank God for that. They are pumping 2 antiobiotics in me and one of them feels like pure fire going into my artery!!! Well, I am so used to being in the hospital that I grabbed one of my bags w/ a few cardmaking supplies and am entering 2 contests. Karen's doodles/Scandinavia one, the theme is Summer Time. I know they won't be as awesome as they could be, but hey it's the thought that counts! This is Ray's Father's day card. I'm not worried about him seeing it cause I don't think he ever comes here... anymore. Well, I best go so I am can get them uploaded!

Testing 1, 2, 3...

Just came back from a PFT (Pulmonary Function Test) I'm usually pretty good with tests, but not this one! The FEV1 out of 100% I only got 46 but it's better than the last one in Feb. It was only 36%! I just don't get all of these numbers, the lung volume is 33% which is better it was 23% I am sick in a different way this time. My lungs are full but not as bad as normal, more spasms and pain. I don't know, I think they are just getting tired of working. I hope not but there is the realization that I am quite old for this disease most ppl don't make it past 37, that's like the top age and look @ me! I'm gonna be 45! I am like a CF wonder her, I should wear a purple cape...captain cf'er! LOL. I actually brought myself in (as usual) I told hubby I needed to go in and he went for a motorcycle ride. So, I packed and loaded my crap up and on the way I went. It's so nice to know you're gonna die alone. I can't help but to keep hearing my wedding vows over and over and giggle cause he should have just cross out "in sickness" I get that some ppl don't take the medical bs well but I don't want to deal with it either! This is the hand I was dealt, what can you do besides deal with it??? Well, I'm outta here, I just felt like a little rant.. Thank God for my cyberworld here I can run and play! LOL

In the hospital

I had to finally break down and go into the hospital. I hate that I am here but I've known even before my cruise that I would have to have a tune up soon. I have set a record for the past 3 yrs or maybe 4 I have stayed out for 8 months this time! I am on a couple antibiotics and junk, gonna go though. They gave me a pain shot and I am soooo sleepy. Good night all.
