New Rubber Stamp Shelf

I finally made a shelf unit for my rubber stamps! I found this used shelf and went to the hardware store and got some dowel rods. Measured them and had dh drill some holes and Wah-Lah!!!

They fit about 5 stamps deep! So, I need to get busy and fill it up! LOL. ( I have goals)

Organizing....AGAIN!!!

I hate organizing, just ask my husband. He thinks I am the most unorganized person, and he's right. I really have to 'work' at it. He bought me a few tools for just such an occasion for our anniversary. Not a romantic gift, I know but I wanted them. The 1st one sits on top of my desk, I wish it were a big smaller (it's huge!) I just need a bigger desk. The paper storagae unit could be bigger though. I love them both and it's a step in the right direction....towards organizing that is. Well, that's it for now.... oh wanna see something really cool. I noticed a nest with beautiful robin eggs in it and I was going to get a pic of nature at it's best and guess what... well see for yourselves!

They were hatching! I just thought this was awesome!

Ronnie visit!!!

Ronnie came home from school for a visit, we went to Amanda's game. It was ungodly cold out!!! It started out nice and went from like 65 - 44 in 20 minutes and I was a bad girlscout because I was NOT prepared... I hate this pic of myself with my son, but it is who I have become... I hate that I've gained 70lbs since I became so ill. Yet I am posting it because it's me....YUCK>

Getting a few things done...

Well, I've been doing alot of scrapping this weekend. It's National Scrapbooking Day, week whatever....any reason to scrap right? Here are a few things I've done. One was a challenge with a posted sketch the other is a scrapbook just for wine labels That's why it's so plain. The ribbons sticking up are attached to tags for journalling about the specific wineries that may have been visited or to journal the occasion that the wine was opened for....

I tried my hand at digital scrapbooking today, I really liked it, after I added some 'hard' embellishments of course. I have to have texture or it just wouldn't be right! Here it is....




I also worked on a wire angel I saw on HGTV; Carol Duvall Show.
