Aggressive action required!

My C.F. Clinic called me Tuesday and told me my sputum specimen finally came back resulting in Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Which with my compromised lungs can be fatal if I don't get aggressive. So, I am now on 9 treatment + a day instead of 4, 3 vest treatments too! So, I am having to step off of my diligent crafting till I knock this crap outta me. I knew I was getting sick, was running fevers and I always get terrible eye and sinus infections. I knew I was just feeling worse than normal. I am glad they let me know though before I end up in the hospital. I had to spend a birthday in the hospital a few years ago and it really, really stinks! I just have to get my wonder woman belt and cape out of the closet and kick some pseudomonas butt! Wish me luck cause I don't want to have to break my record. I have not had to be hospitalized for my C.F. in well over a year & a half! I had a hospitalization in May cause of my back. I am scheduled for a back procedure (discogram) Thursday, but am going to call to make sure I can still have it with this infection. I know I am not going to be able to have the big spinal fusion surgery with this infection growing so I may have to go in to get this out of my system quicker with antibiotic therapy. Well, I'm off to bed. I am hoping to feel well enough to get the rest of my outside Holiday Decor up outside before it gets colder than I can stand!

I had such an enjoyable time minus the ustream technical probs. with the P.I.T.A's! I am not even sure what the acronym means but I love this group already. My kinda peeps! She made this awesome Vintage Typewriter, it is so amazing! I love to make vintage projects too, so I think this will be a good fit. It was just such a nice time. Can't wait for more.

Craftin' away 2 night! 'Tis (gonna B) the Season!

I saw an altered ice skate on pinterest and have loved the idea ever since. I finally found a pair at a thrift store for $3.50!!! Here's my version. The 1st one
The 2nd one!
They also had a cute mini wooden sled it's about 12" long.
I also crafted a few pieces of jewelry last night which I have sold already. I just have to finish a matching bracelet to the "purplescent" ankelet I made. The team ones I made for my daughter's cousin. The black and white daisy chain was made for another gal.

Tu-Tu's

I have been busy making Tu Tu's! (pic down below...sorry for the quality!) I went out shopping for a child's birthday present and I saw a bunch of dress up kits for girls. There was Snow White, Cinderella and all of the Disney Princess outfits. The cutest one I saw was a fairy out fit, must have been a Tinkerbell one, they wanted $30.00 for it and it had strings hanging and it was just poor workmanship. I thought OMG they want $30 bucks for this piece of junk! Well, I at least got an idea. I made one myself & made a hair piece, wand and not pictured are the wings and the fairy flower halo... I hope to have a pic of that as soon as her mom sends one! Since and have several young girls on my Christmas list, I went and bought more tulle & stuff to make more! As this year I have told myself I am only buying for kids. To me Christmas is for kids. I know we as adults love Christmas but as far as toys and the idea of Santa, it is more for the children. Now I just have to come up with an idea for the boys! Any ideas, throw them my way :-) Happy Crafting!
